User :   its regarding my 7 month old son

User :   he passing motion which is green in color ...
User :   it has been 4 days now and as sson he has given anything to eat ...he starts passing motion ......which is bubly and slightly greenish and watery

User :   it has been 4 days and in a day he passes it almost 8 - 10 timse

User :   nope i have stopped almost 2 months back since i'm a working woman

User :   ceralac, ragi cherry and XXXXXXXX milk

Doctor :   have you seen any association between the food you give and the occurence of this problem?

User :   i have been giving him ragi from almost 20 days

Doctor :   see one reason for this could be waht is known as intestinal hurry
Doctor :   if the stools pass through the large intestine too soon
Doctor :   have you changed the diet by chance in the near past?
User :   actually we are giving him dfferent flavors of cerelac at different time of the day ceralc ragi in the morning....ceralac rice in the evening ....cerelac dal with vegetables in noon and ragi cherry in night
User :   so that he get different things to eat ...and does not get bored to eat same thing all the time ....
Doctor :   did you say 8 to 10 times a day?
User :   yes almost as soon as he is made to eat

User :   no
Doctor :   does he cry when passing he stools?
User :   no but he struggles a bit
User :   it used to be very solid ...and he used to struggle a bit
User :   but now since its loose motion .....he doesn't struggle much and there is no pungent sme;;
Doctor :   has he become very tired or anything over the last few days?
Doctor :   is he still playing as usual?
User :   he looks thinner over last 4- 5 days ...but he is still very active

Doctor :   I do not think there is anything to worry as of now
Doctor :   children are known to pass all rainbow colored stools

User :   yes.....

User :   more energy and help him put on lil weight

User :   he is 7.6
User :   he was 3.3 by birth
User :   now in another weeks time he will be completing 8 also

Doctor :   no need to give any medicines

User :   with which i can help to put on lil more weight for the baby
Doctor :   vegetable soups are good for growth
User :   just boiled vegetables ?
User :   what vegetables ........are preferable
User :   i'm giving him boiled and mashed carrot
Doctor :   any actually...the child can take softened, soupy versions of whatever vegetables that you cook at home

Doctor :   please observe your child for any tiredness etc
Doctor :   the colour of stools is not a concern, but watery nature should be looked out for
Doctor :   the child may lose a lot of fluids because of that.
