User :   I had a question, my son doesn't show signs of being diabetic. He does get thirsty a lot, he does not urinate that much, but he does have constipation.

User :   Yes there is, his grandparents on his mother's side.
User :   However, my husband and I do not have diabetes.

User :   Yes, my parents did.
User :   Since he had constipation and usually he does not go for 2 days, does that mean that all the food stored in his body could have affected it?
Doctor :   for children aged 6-12 year, blood glucose levels before food shoul dbe between 90-180 mg/dl
Doctor :   and after food should be 100-180 mg/dl
User :   His results were supposed to be below 100.
Doctor :   he is seven years old. was this level checked before or after food?
