Okay

Okay it is an disease since birth
Doctor :
most common in females
Doctor :
and is manifested around puberty
User :   i dont have that then, because i have had previous blood tests and it hasnt showed up
User :   what do you think is causing my headache
Doctor :
Okay may I know when was the tests done?
User :   around 2-3 years ago
User :   actually 3-4

Doctor :
Okay

Even if it is AAAAAAA
Doctor :
as it is a condition which doesnt trouble much

And the headache can be caused
Doctor :
by AAAAAAA also
Doctor :
but It can be cured
Doctor :
and controlled
User :   why did they not realise in the first place?
Doctor :
Let me know if at all if the headache ever comes down?
User :   i was admitted to hospital with acute dizziness which then led on to headaches, they did two blood tests and found nothing
Doctor :   Okay
User :   i've had negative mri, ct, ekg,
User :   only recently i went back to my gp because it really is becoming a nuisance,
Doctor :   Okay
User :   that's when he found the high bilirubin
Doctor :
thats really a good sign
User :   i know its nothing serious, because i'd be dead by now
Doctor :
Sorry it was in wrong place
User :   but something must be causing it
Doctor :
Okay
Doctor :
headache as such as many causes
Doctor :
like tension
Doctor :
migraine
Doctor :
hypertension
Doctor :
hypotension
Doctor :
improper sleep
Doctor :
improper diet practice
Doctor :
any medical problems
User :   i know, as you can imagine i've researched for years
User :   but none of these match my symptom
Doctor :
Okay
Doctor :
It is normal
Doctor :
that you have this headache
Doctor :
In your case the cureis in yourself
Doctor :
because this type of headache
Doctor :
are more common
Doctor :
and worrying about it too much can also lead to its persistence
Doctor :
Yand
User :   i promise you i dont worry about it
Doctor :
sorry
User :   i used to suffer anxiety from it
User :   no its no problem! i did once worry about it, now its more of a nuisance if that makes sense?
Doctor :
5% of normal population have this
User :   will it ever go away
Doctor :
and it does make sense
Doctor :
It will go
User :   ok, so there is no physical cause
Doctor :   Are you taking any medicine for it?
User :   no simply because no medicines work
Doctor :
okay
User :   it's not that type of headache, there is no pain
User :   to alleviate
Doctor :
Okay
Doctor :
Then let me know do you stay with your parents.
User :   if you hit your finger with a hammer accidently, it throbbs, thats the sort of sensation i get in my head, just without the pain
User :   i live with my parents yes
Doctor :
Okay
Doctor :
If it is of that type and as you say all your tests are negative.
Doctor :
It started from when you felt dizziness.
Doctor :
May I know when was that ?
Doctor :
and what was the treatment given?
Doctor :
If you know.
Doctor :
Because I want to rule out any medical Problem
User :   the dizziness was my very first symptom, i was admitted to hospital where i was given the usual tests, they were all negative and i was therefore discharged without treatment
Doctor :
when was it?
User :   sorry, about 3-4 years ago
Doctor :
Okay
Doctor :
you mean you are with it for 3 years?
Doctor :   Did they say the cause for it
Doctor :
at that time.
User :   they couldnt find a cause
Doctor :
Okay
Doctor :   what was the treatment at that time?
Doctor :
sorry
Doctor :
you said no treatment
Doctor :
Okay
Doctor :   The symptom you say is more suggestive of
Doctor :
Migraine or tension type headache or cluster headache
Doctor :
are you there?
User :   but don't they go away after a few days
User :   mine hasn't gone away at all, just varied in intensity
Doctor :   these vary in intensity as you said
Doctor :   Tension type headache
Doctor :
is the one i think you have
Doctor :
because the other to will produce other symptoms also
User :   yes that makes sense
Doctor :
and they cannot be tolerated without strong painkillers
User :   when i was discharged from the hospital they did say i had tension headache
User :   So where do i go from here
User :   how to i get rid of the headache
Doctor :
Tension headache will need counselling to get rid of it
Doctor :
It can be caused by an reason that you might think is insignificant
User :   i have had councelling
User :   cognitive behavioural therapy
User :   it did not work
Doctor :
It is to be done to find out the cause for your tension
Doctor :
CBT is to adopt
Doctor :
not to cure.
Doctor :
As this can be due to some impact which sometimes is hard to identify as your cooperation will be very much required.
User :   But i'm only 19 years old
User :   absolutley nothing in my life has happened that is even merely significant and would cause this kind of distress
Doctor :
Yes
Doctor :
Okay
Doctor :
but the admission you said can also be a reason
Doctor :
can I know how you developed the dizziness
User :   i got up very quickly and suddenly felt like i was going to pass out
Doctor :   Okay
User :   it then began to reoccur throughout the day and eventually got so bad that i had to see a doctor asap
Doctor :   Okay
Doctor :
It all happened in one day
User :   yes
Doctor :
and were you weak at that time.
User :   yes i could barely stand up
Doctor :
At those time also your diet was okay and regular i suppose.
Doctor :
and without any other illness
User :   yes, no illnesses at all
User :   perfectly fine and healthy
Doctor :   Okay
User :   the dizziness then manifested into severe headaches
User :   for about 2 weeks
User :   i was again admitted to hospital and investigations began
User :   the headaches went away and now im left with this pulsating
Doctor :
Okay and for this all the test was done now
Doctor :
and all were negative
Doctor :
except for bilirubin
Doctor :
right/
User :   yes every test i've ever had has been negative
User :   apart from recent blood tests
Doctor :
Okay
Doctor :   DO you feel the head falling down low when you have that pulsating headache
Doctor :
as if the head is to heavy
User :   no
Doctor :
NO problem with eyes also at that time
Doctor :
OKay
User :   no i've had 2 eye tests, both fine
Doctor :   Okay

Doctor :

Doctor :   in brief
User :   of course what would you like to know
Doctor :

Doctor :
