Doctor :
k it is called ganglion
User :
oh
Doctor :
ganglion is nothing but fluid filled sac
User :
ha
User :
was there any problem
Doctor :
will explain 1st listen to me
User :
ok
Doctor :
then if you have any queries u can stop me
Doctor :
there will be a tissue lining joints and tendons that produce lubricating fluid for smooth movements over joints and ligaments
Doctor :
like oil for machinery tools near joints
Doctor :
so due to injury or frictional rub or hard hit the ligament connecting two small bones in that wrist may be probably damaged
Doctor :
so the lubricating fluid which is produced daily is collected in a small sac.. instead of going to lubricate the small bones of that portion
Doctor :
so the sac will be pressing on the nerves so is the pain
Doctor :
it is not dangerous unless leading to complications
User :
k
Doctor :
it is trated with 1> a needle aspirating or rmoving all the fluid
Doctor :
2>removal of that ganglion or fluid filled sac by cutting open with a small opening in minor ot
Doctor :
3>injection of a steroid drug into the sac so that it recesses
Doctor :
the problem is with aspiration and drug injection that it may reccur once again
Doctor :
so now your turn to answer few questions of mine
Doctor :
are you ready?
User :
