Doctor :   Your belly button is not involved in the surgery of gallbladder.

Doctor :   Its a laproscopic surgery, where 3 small incision, of about 1 cm is made.
Doctor :   one such incision is performed close to umbilicus.
Doctor :   The incision is a small one and will not lead to major scars/deformities.
User :   ok so not through it and it won't bother my belly button at all then

Doctor :   However will have some restrictions with regards to your diet and physical activity for a week.

Doctor :   You may need to stay in the hospital for a couple of days.
Doctor :   You may be asked to restrict use of solid diet.
Doctor :   Diet consisting of mainly liquids and solids, during the stay in your hospital,
