User :   and the report says that my TSH is 23.60, T3 is 101.3 and T4 is 4.48

User :   i dont know if this is a symptom ... feel lazy, bulky and get irritated very easily these days
Doctor :   Yes these are symptoms of hypothyroidism
User :   alright
User :   what is the solution now
Doctor :   you need to be evaluated by a thyroid scan, to know whats the cause of low thyroid
User :   ? did not understand
Doctor :   also, a thyroid ultrasound needs to be done to detect, if there are any nodules or swellings in the thyroid
User :   ok
User :   wat about taking sme kind of medicn
Doctor :   & if needed, a thyroid biopsy has to be done based on the findings of the thyroid ultrasound
Doctor :   the test after the ultrasound is called FNAC, where in a tissue sample is taken by a small needle inserted into the thyroid
Doctor :   and once the results are confirmed appropraite treatment is done based on the diagnosis
Doctor :   may i know where u reside ?
User :   XXX
Doctor :   ok
User :   so u mean i go for ultrasound and then FNAC
User :   and only then can they do some thing about it
Doctor :   yes, a thyroid ultrasound is the next step in your case
User :   this is going to take some time. are their few things i can do at home to control it... i am ultra busy with work
Doctor :   there are a lot of causes that cause hypothyroidism, - inclkuding thyroid destruction, hashimotos ds, idiopathic cases, etc, which need different management
User :   ok
Doctor :   the conditions that u have - like lethargy, depression, irritability need to be corrected
User :   would you recommend XXX?
User :   ok
Doctor :   so that all issues in your personal life to improve
Doctor :   XXX is a very good institution in XXX and i do recommend it
User :   and the worst thing is that i work as a host for a TV program and am gaining weight like a baloon
Doctor :   once the cause is determined, you will be put on corrective meds, that u need to be on, and this will improve all ur current symptoms
Doctor :   including weight gain
User :   yeah ...
User :   will exercise and diet help?
Doctor :   it will help, but not to a great extent as the main cause has not been taken care off
Doctor :   lethargy, fatugue will prevent u from having a good excercise
Doctor :   i hope u are following my advicee
User :   isshould i be worried about this condition... is it very serious for a 26 year old or will be ok if i get the tests done after some time
Doctor :   treatment at the earliest will prevent complications like obesity, infertility, and other issues
Doctor :   but a delay of 2-3 weeks, will not matter much
User :   ok that is great .. will get the test done after a wk or two and meanwhile will exercise .. and eat less
Doctor :   ok, that u can do
Doctor :   Do u have any other query?
User :   yes
User :   these days i am getting white discharge from utras

User :   yeah .. all
Doctor :   and how long has this been ?
User :   3 days
User :   it is better today
Doctor :   and is this white discharge appear to be like a curdy white, ?
User :   yes
Doctor :   You have a vaginal yeast infection - due to candida
User :   ???
User :   please explain
Doctor :   you can use Candid -B cream to apply in the affected area, with a applicator
User :   ok
Doctor :   candida, is a fungus, which results, due to increased moisture and reduced immunty, which also can occur due to hypothyroidism
User :   is that all...
Doctor :   as it reduces the immunity as well
User :   somebody told me that it is bone marrow comming out
User :   ok
Doctor :   Was he or she a medical expert ?
Doctor :   i guess not
User :   what could be the reasons
Doctor :   i already explained - low thyroid status , causing low immunity and hence fungal infection
User :   no she is my mother haha
Doctor :   TAKE THE cream that i suggested
User :   but isnt my thyroid level too high ... 23.60?
Doctor :   and u will have relief
Doctor :   its not your thyroid, its the TSH thats high
User :   ok
Doctor :   if thats high, it means, you have a low thyroid working status
Doctor :   and needs evaluation
Doctor :   i hope i have solved ur query
Doctor :
