User :   i seem to have a fungal infection in my armpit
User :   its itchy n get really red when i scratch it
User :   gets worse with deo / perfume
User :   i had the same thing once in the past ...
Doctor :   ok. since when you have noticed it?
User :   about 3 weeks now
Doctor :   has it appeared after starting deo use?
Doctor :   have you changed the product use?
User :   no ..
User :   may be its cause of the razor i used..
Doctor :   is there rash associated?
User :   that was the cause last time ..
Doctor :   is there foul smell associated?
User :   yes ..there is a rash
Doctor :   does the sweat have any color associated when it dries on clothes?
User :   just the foul smell due to the lack of deo !
User :   no colour

Doctor :   is there whitish or blackish tinge on skin?
User :   blackish pink tinge

Doctor :   then follow these steps
Doctor :   1) avoid use of deo/perfume for next 15 days
User :   ok
Doctor :   2) use mild vinegar twice a day in armpit area if needed
User :   vinegar ? as in cooking vinegar ?
Doctor :   3) wash it with mild soap, apply Caladryl lotion 2-4 times a day
Doctor :   yes
Doctor :   4) wear cotton clothes
Doctor :   and avoid tight fitting clothes
Doctor :   if all these do not help, then you will need to get it examined to make sure there is no secondary bacterial infection
User :   ok doing all the rest .. points 1 and 4
Doctor :   and if yeast infection is detected, then you will need to get it treated with topical and oral antifungals
User :   i was using an antifungal : clotrimazole n beclamethsasone
Doctor :   which would be determined after examination done by a dermatologist
User :   it seems to hv gotten better
Doctor :   Beclomethasone can aggravate yeast infection.
User :   but dont know if its the right one
User :   so only clotrimazole ?
Doctor :   if you are seeing improvement, then you can continue using the same along with the above suggestion
