User :   what the recovery time for this
Doctor :   Grade III tears recover late,they might require surgery to fix it if seere

Doctor :   it an take 4-8 weeks time depending on treatment and rest given to it

User :   my mri shows this, but theres not much swelling or pain
User :   also the calcaneofibular is not torn

User :   glutamine, bcaa, glucosamine, msm, chondrotin and a few other things
Doctor :   you will require ACE wrap to be put
Doctor :   the treatment can be summarised as R.I .C.E
Doctor :   rest, ice, compression, and elevation (RICE)
User :   ive got a bandage on at the moment, its been about a week since the injury

Doctor :   ACE wrap or Ankle brace should be worn at al times

User :   how long do u reckon before i should start walking, if surgury is not required
Doctor :   the degree of pain and appearance of swelling can be considered
Doctor :   if they are present wen you try walking then surgery might be required
Doctor :   otherwise with the ACE wrap or ankle brace you can be mobilized
Doctor :   along with physiotherapy and rehabilitation
Doctor :   but it should be controlled mobilization and under supervision.
