My wife is pregnant for 9 weeks. We are not sure about what food is safe to eat and what is not. She likes ripe Mangoes a lot, but some of the articles on internet suggest that it is not good to have during pregnancy. Please suggest if it is safe to eat mangoes or not during pregnancy?
Also, articles suggest to avoid pineapple, dates, etc. Please suggest if she can have these fruits and what amount of it is considered safe?
Her age is 29, weight is 45 kg and no other problems.

User :   ya she is taking all that also... but the thing i want to know is on top of all other fruits if she takes mangoes in more amount... does it have any problems?
Doctor :   on the top of above these fruits surely mangoes causes problem like indigestion , breathlessness due to stress on respiratory system.

Doctor :   You can balance the meals and salad like this.
Doctor :   You can divide meals into 4-5 instead of 3 ,if you are following. A small meal with frequent servings can limit the load and all the essential things can be taken like 1 fruit after 1 serving and a cup of milk twice daily.
