User :   yes
Doctor :   you can continue to taking coumadin as advised
Doctor :   it is a blood thinning medication
User :   yea
User :   but i was concerned on the bump on my pelvic area
Doctor :
this is not the cause for your bump in the pelvic area
User :   i know
User :   i was just concerned on taking any medication while im on the coumadin
Doctor :   i suggest you the following for your bump on the pelvis
Doctor :   right now only local measures are sufficient
Doctor :
like cleaning the area with antiseptic solution or surgical spirit
Doctor :
and wash with mild soap with luke warm water
Doctor :   avoid taking pain relief medications as it may affect the coumadin activity
Doctor :   you can apply neosporin ointment to the bump
User :   are those over the counter medications
User :   the antiseptic solution
Doctor :   yes they are available over the counter
Doctor :   not to squeeze the bump.
User :   how can i be safe it is not herpes
User :   or some other type of std
User :   im kind of afraid to get checked and get negative results
Doctor :
herpes bumps comes in corps meaning they will be multiple bumps and all are small and are filled with clear fluid
Doctor :   you will have fever also

Doctor :
in your case the bump is single right?
User :   yes only one
Doctor :
so it is very unlikely that it is herpes
Doctor :   it is folliculitis an infection of the sweat gland or sebaceous gland
Doctor :   and it is quite common in the region of pelvis and arm pit
User :   i had similar bumps in the past but never this big one
Doctor :   yes the bumps of folliculitis may be as big as 3 to 5 inches in diameter

User :   is hydrogen peroxide usefl
User :   useful
Doctor :   it is a wound cleaning solution
Doctor :
it is useful when there is a raw surface
User :   so it wont be helpful?
Doctor :   if the bump has bursted and there is raw surface than it is useful
Doctor :   wipe the bump and surrounding skin with antiseptic solution or alcohol rub
Doctor :
apply neosporin ointment
User :   the bump i have has not burst yet
Doctor :   that is sufficient for now
Doctor :
dont try to burst the bump
Doctor :
it might resolve by itself
Doctor :
if it bursts than it will take long time to heal
User :   should i cover it some type of band aid or tissye
User :   tissue
Doctor :
no
Doctor :
apply neosporin ointment and leave it open
Doctor :
that is sufficient
Doctor :   Is there any thing else I can help you with?

User :   yes
Doctor :
ok

User :   since i was about 14 years old i had these little white dots around the tip of my penis
User :   i never had sex with anyone by that age
Doctor :   ok

User :   and i have always questions why i had those white dots and i have never gotten check because i am embarrased
Doctor :   these are the small glands which secret the fluid to keep the penis head moist

Doctor :   in some it will be more obvious and in some it may not be visible
User :   i always thought they were warts
User :   and was very concerned about it
Doctor :   no
Doctor :
those glands are responsible for the accumulation of the whit substance around the penis head
User :   i researched a lot on them and are they pearly papules
User :   ?
Doctor :   ok

User :   how can i get rid of those bumps?
Doctor :
it is normal and if you want to get rid of them then you have to undergo surgery
User :   so there is no type of ointment to reduce the amount
User :   and will they grow any bigger?
Doctor :
as such no ointment, and the size keeps varying but will not grow big
User :   so will it ever go away?
Doctor :   as it is the constituent of the penis skin it will not go away
Doctor :
it is normal and it will be there in all men
User :   but more obvious in some
Doctor :
yeah
Doctor :   is there any thing else i can help you with?

User :   one last thing, so to narrow the issue on the bumpy blister in my pelvic area i should apply the hydrogen peroxide even though it has not popped
Doctor :   no not to use if it is not popped

User :   then i will just leave it alone
User :   or put neosporin
User :   ?
Doctor :   clean the area with alcohol rub and apply neosporin and leave it open
User :   ok
User :   i got it
User :   i hope it can go away soon
Doctor :
yes it will go in a week or 10 days
User :   is it safe to have sex?
Doctor :   no issues you can continue to have sex
User :   ok
User :   so thank you for the help
