User :   dr i have had a low grade head ache for 2 days, today i woke up feeling flu like symtoms, and i noticed while puting deoderant on that i have swollen lymph nodes in both armpits and redness.......i am getting body aches all over, i went to urgent care and saw a PA...who seemed to think i have a bacterial infection.......she put me on question is: what the chance this is something serious, such as meningitis or something else, i have never had this happen before, i was in the for the last 6 yrs, i was givin an aids testabout 4 yrs ago came back neg(-)have been with the same woman for 10+ yrs...i do not use intravenus drugs or engage in risky behavior, but the speed at which i became ill worries me.....on a % scale what do you think....and why would the pa think bacterial infection..vs viral?

User :   yes they took blood and urine....said urine was info in blood, and i got a chest xray and a prostate exam

Doctor :   yes you do have typical signs of a bacterial infection
Doctor :   and there is nothing you should be worry about
Doctor :   cipro is the right medicine and it will take its course of time to work
