User:Good Morning Doctor..
User:My wife gave birth to a baby girl on 18th of this month...
User:After delivery she got blood transfusion, and since next day of the transfusion she got fever...

User:I took her for the checkup with the same hospital...
User:they give some medicines...
User:but still she is having fever...
User:what should I do now???
User:Shall I take her to some other hospital??

Doctor:Get all the routine blood tests done
User:may I know what is reason for that??
Doctor:We should find out the reason for her fever
Doctor:and treat it too
Doctor:The reasons could be many
Doctor:Post partum infection
Doctor:Transfusion reaction
Doctor:The common cause would be that she probably has a focus of infection somewhere in her body
User:But day before yesterday, we got her blood tested.. but there is nothing problemetic..

User:one thing I forgot to tell you that she is having fever only during the day time.. she is normal in the evening and night...

User:malaria we had test but not for typhoid..
Doctor:Please get the test for typhoid. It is called Widal test
Doctor:Also, please check for dengue antibodies as well, as dengue is increasing now
User:is there some different test for dengue??
Doctor:It is called Dengue antibody test, get that done
User:any other precaution we have to take care???
User:can mother feed the baby during this time??
Doctor:Mother can feed the baby
Doctor:No problem with that
Doctor:Please get her evaluated again by the doctors
Doctor:There is no precaution as such except for maintenance of general hygiene and prevention of mosquito bites
User:Can I use black hit spray in the room where mother and baby?
User:for mosquitos??
Doctor:Use simple mosquito repellants like Good night or all out
User:then how to avoid mosquitos??
User:but those does not work effectivelly??
Doctor:Keep the door and windows closed in the nights
