User:i am having a heat boil kind of stuff on my butt for past 5 days
Doctor:Is there pus formarmation in the lesion ?
User:i went to a doctor today and he has drained the puss (red colour) and covered with a cloth so that the puss will not touch the pants
Doctor:Thats right treatment
Doctor:has he placed you on antibiotics ?
Doctor:or adviced antibiotic ointment ?
User:he has prescribed amoxicillin for 10 days

User:and asked to clean the area with soap everyday and cover it back with cloth
User:but i still see the area like doom shape and hard.. is it normal? will it take some more days to become flat?

User:also the pain is there but slightly better than earlier
Doctor:the surrounding swelling and redness is due to inflammation and infection

User:how long does it take to become normal and the pain to subside

User:but i was not having fever when i have visited the doctor

Doctor:this is due to leak of chemicals from the lesion to the blood and cause fever
User:so antibiotic should take care of the fever as well?
User:should i avoid pressure from the affected part?
User:since it is in the butts.. it hurts while sitting

Doctor:no pressure may not worsen but can cause pain
User:the swelling is not soft.. it is hard

Doctor:You can take an antiinflammatory like Ibuprofen with the antibiotic
