Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   How can i help u today?
User :   Hello doctor....this is AAAAAAA ..I m undergoing fertility treatement and i did a IUI on 29 and 30th of March.....yesterday i did a beta HCG test and it was >1500 and my doctor did a scan to see if there is SAC but she told she could not find one...any problem doctor
Doctor :   lack of a intrauterine sac , indicates the absence of pregnancy
Doctor :   within one month post IUI, you should have had a gestational sac, which is confirmative of pregnancy
Doctor :   the HCG levels at the 5th week, is in the range of 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
User :   mine was more than 1500 how is that HCG count kept increasing?
Doctor :   it could be due to a ectopic preganncy or a nonviable pregnancy, both of which might have been detected on the ultrasound
Doctor :   What was ur treating doctors impression ?
User :   she told me she cant see a ectopic pregancy....and she asked me to do the scan three days later..and she asked me not to worry
Doctor :   In that case, you might do the same
Doctor :   probably, the position in which the scan was done, did not detect the fetal sac
User :   but did u see any cases like mine doctor? ...she did a internal scan only doctor
Doctor :   this is a common occurances in patients undergoing IUI
User :   but what is the possiblity doctor?
Doctor :   What do u mean by possibility ?
Doctor :   the percentage of such occurances is about 45%
User :   ok doctor...thank you so much...
Doctor :   you are most welcome
Doctor :   take care and everything will work out fine
Doctor :   bye for now
User :   bye doctor
