User :   but i heard having intercourse more, reduces the sperm quality.. is tat true?
Doctor :   there is NO truth in that
Doctor :   dont worry i can assure you
Doctor :   the sperm quality has no relationship to the frequency
User :   Thank you doctor for the info
User :   one more query..should we do intercourse before ovulation or after that?
Doctor :   i will tell you all the details
Doctor :   see the period where you have the most chances is called the fertility period
Doctor :   and i will tell you how you can find yours
Doctor :   To determine the fertile period of a woman it is necessary to study and analyze the menstruation cycle. It varies between 23 and 35 days among women and many classify the cycle into two parts, before ovulation and post ovulation.
Doctor :   The first day of the period is called day one. During day seven the ovum is getting ready for fertilization and during day seven to day eleven the uterine lining thickens getting ready for the implantation of the fertilized ovum
Doctor :   During day fourteen the ovum is released and it travels down the fallopian tubules. If a sperm is waiting for it the ovum is fertilized and implants itself in the uterine lining resulting in pregnancy. The ovum has a life span of only about 12 to 24 hours. Sperm can survive up to 72 hours inside a woman
Doctor :   so therefore you are most fertile 14 days before the onset of your period.
Doctor :   3 days before and 3 days after your ovulation are the days where if you have sexual intercourse the chances are maximum
Doctor :   hope you understood
User :   yes i did
User :   thanks a lot
Doctor :   and the frequency does not matter \
Doctor :   infact the more you do the more are the chances
Doctor :   your most welcome
