Doctor:Let me brief you.
Doctor:Acute symptoms of drowsiness and sleepinenss is generally secondary to some minor infections. However the causes are plenty when symptoms are lasting for more than a year.
Doctor:Lack of sufficient sleep, hypothyroidism, diabetes, anemia and nutritional deficiency are some of the common causes.
Doctor:Besides these depression and other physical/mental parameters are known to cause such symptoms.
Doctor:It is going to be extremely difficult for me to figure out the close causes without an opportunity to physically examine and evaluate you.
Doctor:Since you listed hypothyroidism in your past medical illness, this needs to be rechecked and treated well first.
Doctor:Symptoms of hypothyroidism last for long duration, so there is no surprise why you were diagnosed recently when symptoms were for years.
Doctor:Are you following?
Doctor:Besides, testing TSH levels for hypothyroid; I would also urge you to get your hemoglobin and blood sugar checked.
Doctor:If the tests reveal normal reports, then you need to visit your doctor for clinical examination.
