User:Hi Doctor
Doctor:Dr. XXXXXXX here
Doctor:How can I help you?
User:Last whole week i was feeling hungry very soon after breafkast, lunch & dinner
User:I spoke with one of the doctor in XXXXXXX & he has suggested me to perform the test for Body Glucose and Thyroid
User:Body Glucose is in range
User:And regarding Thyroid, TOTAL TRIIODOTHYRONINE (T3) C.L.I.A 101 ng/dl 60 - 200 TOTAL THYROXINE (T4) C.L.I.A 7 μg/dl 4.5 - 12.0 THYROID STIMULATING HORMONE (TSH) C.L.I.A 7.29 μIU/ml 0.30 - 5.5
User:T3 & T4 seem to be in range
User:but TSH is higher
User:I am 28 years old
Doctor:Yes, your TSH levels are higher than the normal indicating hypothyroidism.
Doctor:it needs to be corrected with medication.
Doctor:However before stepping on correcting it, I think you need to do couple of more test - i.e free T3 and free T4 level.
User:ok.. But T3 & T4 are in range. What do they signify?
Doctor:You can consult an endocrinologist/thyroid specialist and discuss the problem as a whole.
User:So free T3 & free T4 are different from T3 & T4
Doctor:He/she can examine and you start its treatment.
Doctor:Since function and link between T3,T4 and TSH is bit complex to be explained on live chat, if you wish to learn and understand
Doctor:can I call you and discuss.
Doctor:If yes, please confirm your mobile number.
User:Do you suggest me to contact a thyroid specialist in Healthcare magic or I should visit in person
Doctor:Hope I have answered your query.
Doctor:Thanks for consulting me
Doctor:Bye for now.
