User:Sure Sir
Doctor:There are many causes for numbness to be felt.
Doctor:They can be due to stroke, migraine, seizures, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, or just staying in the same position for long.
Doctor:The major concerns in these is due to neurological damage.
Doctor:In your case, they had been ruled out earlier.
Doctor:As you said that MRI, CT were normal, there is no reason to believe in those causes.
Doctor:Other causes like Diabetes has to be ruled out.
User:Yes..I have tested that also
User:I am not diabetic
Doctor:I am glad you are not having Diabetes
Doctor:I can understand the difficulty you are facing.
User:thanks :)
Doctor:When there is nothing to prove of, then doctors also keep searching for other causes of why you are facing these issues.
Doctor:When you speak of numbness and that too one sided,
Doctor:it has to be thought of as a neurological problem.
User:Ealrlier you supected Stroke...
User:Even I am was coming across same while googling
Doctor:That had been ruled out by CT
Doctor:So you would not have to worry about a stroke.
User:ok... Ischemic
User:some small form of stroke
Doctor:Ischemic, means, due to less blood supply to any parts.
Doctor:In your case, as said before CT and MRI came out normal, which shows there is no such lesion in your brain.
Doctor:You do not have to worry about stroke now.
User:Problem comes at some times, even I am feling great now with out any numbness.
Doctor:I would suggest you to be under a Neurologist regularly for check ups.
Doctor:Mainly because, your symptoms are neurological.
Doctor:And no other cause can be identified till now.
Doctor:It is required for you as to make sure that whatever the cause is, it is diagnosed.
Doctor:You might need to do a EEG to rule out any seizure activity.
Doctor:That can be done by a neurologist at their hospitals.
User:I will consult a neurologist. When I tell about neurology, I have pain in my neck..
User:may be spondiolytis
User:in case that helps
Doctor:Yes. Spondylosis can cause numbness.
Doctor:That is one cause which has to be examined properly.
User:I am feeling great after talking to you
Doctor:You are always welcome to ask us suggestions.
Doctor:hope I have been able to help you.
User:I think I have already taken a lot of ut time..
User:thank you so much..
Doctor:Do you have any other queries?
User:Not at this point
User:Take care
