User :   Can anxiety cause physical symptoms??
User :   Like lets say i am obsessed about the fear of getting appendicitis . Could my anxiety trigger pain where the appendix is?

User :   well i have no health i'd have to take a trip to the ER...and they would probably do a CT...and I've had to many.
User :   I just can't get it out of my head.

when did u have ct scan last time?
User :   my pain hasn't gotten any worse. but i just can't seem to shake the thought .
User :   last 3 CT scans were 4-5 months ago

and pain abdomen from how many days?
User :   almost 24 hours. although i'm not sure if it's even there anymore. I can't tell...i don't know if it's my anxiety telling me it hurts or if it really does. there is no pain when i press or release or upon coughing laughing walking jumping, etc

User :   no. only ativan when needed, but i dislike taking it unless i have to
Doctor :   i feel its better u see a psychiatrist for counseling,as ur last 3 scans in the span of 4 months are normal ,its very unlikely u having appendicitis.
User :   ive also had 2 normal bowel movements today
User :   im nauseated. but i havent eaten all day because ive been scared to.
