Doctor:You said your eye is hurting - is it both sides or one side?
User:no the eye is alrigt now
Doctor:Since when has this fever been?
User:i think only since yesterday
Doctor:Do you still have the sorethroat?

User:have a sight headache
Doctor:Do you mean nasal congestion?
User:but not much discharge
Doctor:May I know your age?
User:only some blockage
Doctor:Any history of diabetes, hypertension, sinusitis?
Doctor:Let me brief you.
Doctor:You have symptoms of upper respiratory inflammation.
Doctor:It could be associated with virus / bacterial infection or allergic causes.
User:so it will not get better on its own
Doctor:nasal congestion can easily lead to sinusitis resulting in headache.
Doctor:Without a clinical examination it is difficult to predict which of the aforementioned condition you currently have.
User:feel drowsy also
Doctor:However presuming you had sorethroat and nasal congestion progressing to headache and fever, it is most likely bacterial.
Doctor:Hence my suggestions are as follows:
User:congestion seems to be stuck up inside
Doctor:1. Take deep steam inhalation three or 4 times a day.
Doctor:You can add Karvol plus capsule contents into the hot water and inhale the steam from it
Doctor:It gives better results.
Doctor:2. Take antihistamines. Allegra is good, you may continue that for next 3-4 days.
User:what dosage
User:there was a gap
Doctor:Allegra comes in various doses such as 90mg, 120mg / 180mg given once a day. The doses prescribed to you by your doctor would be appropriate.
Doctor:I am unable to specify the right dose without a clinical examination.
Doctor:You may follow the dosage given to you by your doctor.
User:do in need antibiotics or analgesic like combiflan
Doctor:3. Along with it, you can take antipyretic drug such as Tab.Dolo 650 mg thrice a day.
Doctor:It has analgesics property too and will help for both fever and headache.
User:for how many days
Doctor:4. Dolo 650mg can be taken for 2-3 days depending on your symptoms.
User:no antibiotics?
Doctor:4. Antibiotic has no role in allergic condition as well as viral condition;
Doctor:however I predict that you may have bacterial infection too.
Doctor:You may confirm this with a local doctor.
User:so it would be better to go for an examination
Doctor:If bacterial infection is suspected, you may start antibiotics such as azithromycin under the care of the doctor.
Doctor:Yes, local examination of the nasal cavity and sinus will give us clues to suspect bacterial infection.
Doctor:If a bacterial infection is suspected, antibiotic is the main stay of treatment.
Doctor:Have you followed?
User:finally then i think i would have to go for examination
Doctor:The symptoms of bacterial infection and viral infections overlap considerably. On a chat, without physical examination I cannot differentiate the two.
Doctor:Therefore I urge you to see a doctor nearby for clinical examination.
User:ok thanks
Doctor:If bacterial infection is suspected, antibiotic need to be added to the aforementioned treatment.
Doctor:Hope it is clear.
Doctor:Do you have any other query?
Doctor:Thanks for consulting me.
Doctor:Wish you a speedy recovery.
Doctor:Bye for now.
