Doctor:If you want, you can post your query, for psychiatrists by paying the charges ,
Doctor:ok, please proceed
User:but I want to know is it a problem in regards to gynecology or psychology
User:my sister is having 5 months old baby..
User:last before week..she behaved abnormally..
User:we went to doctor..and doctor told like because of lack of sleep..she is feeling stress..
User:she is getting angry, she is crying suddenly, she is doing irrelevant talk
User:she stopped feeding the baby for past one week..
User:and she is absolutely fine last week..and she is normal..
Doctor:is she doing the same things even now ?
User:she went to office too..
User:again from saturday she started doing things abnormally..
Doctor:is she physically harming the baby ?
Doctor:Is she recieving proper emotional support fomr her family and husband ?
User:she is compaling that she is getting headache for loudsounds and phone talk..
User:no no she is taking good care of the baby
Doctor:can u explain, me what you mean by abnormal behavior, please provide exact details
Doctor:please mention the no of people in the house, she stays in , as well
User:before last week she behaved like that due to lack of emotional support from her mother in law and husband..
User:once doctor told them to take care of her properly they are not saying anything now to her..
Doctor:Are u sure of that ?
Doctor:post pregnancy, especially for working women, there is elevated prolactin hormone, which helps in breast milk secretion
Doctor:and the same hormone can act on the brain, and produce symptoms due to depression and anxiety .
User:example..of abnoraml behaviour is..we asked her to bring the clothes which are dried from the top floor..
Doctor:hence post pregnancy, women need proper psychological and emotional care, and assistance
User:she bought all the clothes which are present..mixed with neighbour's clothes too..
User:when we asked she told like she is not able to recognize them..
User:she is also saying like whatever I am holding they are appearing to be strong like rocks..
Doctor:you mean heavy ?
User:when we asked doctor she told its becoz of harmones imbalance after post pregnancy..
User:yes..she is using this word heavy..
User:lot of times..
User:she stopped feeding milk..this is becoz of that?
Doctor:first and foremost, it is normal for individuals to not recognise cloths, occasionally ,
Doctor:stopping milk for a few days, might be due to the fact that she is stressed and fatigues
User:she only washed clothes and made them dried in the sun in the morning..
Doctor:if she is given proper emotional support, and care, she will be fine
Doctor:did she wash cloths of the whole family ?
User:baby clothes and her clothes
Doctor:i would suggest a few days of rest for her
Doctor:and a calm and relaxed environment, at home
Doctor:and mostly proper help., to rasie the baby
Doctor:if the baby is crying at night and not letting her sleep, it can cause much depression and stress
Doctor:is that the fact with her baby ???
User:I dont think so doctor..
Doctor:are u sure ?
Doctor:crying babies at night, are usually the cause of severe stress and anxiety in new mothers
Doctor:to prevent that, keeping the baby awake, in the morning for a few hours, so that , he sleeps at night , would help
Doctor:a proper sleep cycle has to be developed
User:we will follow this..
Doctor:other issues like gastric reflux and acidity in the baby, also need to be ruled out
Doctor:give your sister, some space and time to relax herself, and let someone else take care of the baby, each day, say for 1-2 hours
Doctor:having this time, to destress, will help her recuperate and have proper care for the baby too
User:ok..thank you..
Doctor:You are very welcome
Doctor:Is there anything else u want help with ?
User:thats all doctor..thank you very much..
Doctor:OK, take care and have a good day
