Doctor :   hi
Doctor :   how can I help you?
User :   Hello, well my period is 3 weeks late and today i went and got a ultrasound and the sonographer said that they couldn't see anything. They did however say that it looked like something was in my uterus displacing it. However she did not know what it would be. Could it be a pregnancy or what other things could it be. I have been having pregnancy like symptoms like extreme breast tenderness, nausea, constipation, heartburn and headaches. what else could it be if not a pregnancy that would throw off my hormones or could it be a pregnancy?
User :   and its just too early to tell*
Doctor :   plz provide your age, occupation, height and weight
User :   19, 5'5, 132lbs
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   since when are you facing these symptoms?
User :   I have been since about may 22nd thats when i missed my period
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   when was you last period date
User :   april 22nd
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   do all symptoms started together and all of a sudden?
User :   all of the sudden but i got extreme breast tenderness around may 13th with light spotting and then came the tiredness. The heartburn and constipation started about a couple days after i missed my period. And the headaches have been the last two weeks.
Doctor :   have you undertaken urine pregnancy or blood pregnancy test?
User :   yes i took a pregnancy test when i missed my period and it was negative. The doctor told me it normally doesnt show until its about 2 weeks late. i took one june 2nd and it was negative
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   do you have sonography report with you?
User :   they didnt give me a report. They referred my to a obgyn to get a ultrasound. i just want to get an idea of what could be going on.

Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   on june 2 you have taken urine or blood pegnancy?
User :   a urine test. i got a blood test a 3 days after my period was missed it was negative but the lady at the lab told me it wouldn't show up that early. She said that i was jumping the gun
User :   so i just ruled that out as being too early
Doctor :   what was the value in the urine test
User :   the value?
User :   i dont know i took an at home urine test
Doctor :   oh
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   what about the value of blood test, do you have report with you?
User :   the value of the blood test was less than 10. it didnt give me an exact number, just less than 10 is all i know
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   your blood test is negative
User :   yea
User :   like i said i took it when my period was 3 days late so she told me it was early
Doctor :   all the symptoms that you are facing may be either due to pregnancy or due to missed periods
Doctor :   are your cycles regular?
User :   yeah they have been very regular until now
Doctor :   ok

Doctor :   any burning during urine, or any white foul smelling discharge from vagina?
User :   no. I do feel like i have to pee all the time. Like pressure on my bladder
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   as there are no symptoms of urine infection so I believe that the urine pregnancy test might be correct
Doctor :   but to confirm i will advice you to take the blood HCG test again
User :   okay thats fine. what about the ultrasound?? What could that be?
Doctor :   as there is no report so i cannot exclude pregnancy as per your symoptoms

Doctor :   it may be a fetus

Doctor :   but to confirm it a detailed report is necessary which will contain all the measurements
Doctor :   based on that measurements it can be concluded
Doctor :   that it is fetus or something else
User :   She said that she couldnt see anything like a sac. what could be the reasons why she couldnt see it??
Doctor :   generally after 9 weeks the ultrasound findings are clear, before that none of the findings in the ultrasound are reliable

User :   Well okay so what other type of things cause these symptoms besides pregnancy

Doctor :   there may be fibroids in the uterus which are developing, it may be due to endometriosis and many other problems are there
Doctor :   or it may be due to simple hormonal disturbances
Doctor :   are you taking any medications?
User :   okay what is endometriosis?
Doctor :   in this the endometrial cells are deposited outside the uterus
User :   no
Doctor :   means?
User :   im not taking medication
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   do you have any other medical problems?
User :   not really. i had to get abnormal cervical cells froze not too long ago. I had a miscarriage last year. Other than that im healthy i guess
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   as you have planned pregnancy in 19 years of age so these are the problems that you are facing
Doctor :   ideal age sholud be 21-28 years
User :   Why??
Doctor :   both body and womb is not mature enough for carrying the baby, if age is less than 20 years
User :   oh i didnt know that. No one has ever told me that.
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   take precaution next time and educate others regarding that
User :   um okay. Thank you.
