About My Exposure : I am not done sex like vaginal , anal , and oral sex .. But while in foreplay i am UN-PROTECTIVE , that time the females vaginal fluids are in leakeage ,I am worrying that fluids had contacted with my penis a bit .( she s a sex worker not knowing her hiv status, I am thinking that she s hiv+)
how much chances that i infect ?
Alright. You seem to have had an exposure with person of unknown HIV status
How long ago was this contact?
now its 20 days
Above i mentioned about my sexual contact
I have read through your exposure
you have had an unprotected exposure
If it was just a foreplay and not a penetrative sex, then the chances are minimal
However, the risk of transmission is 0.04% per act
no sexual intercouse doctoe
I would suggest you to get tested for HIV after 3 weeks
ya i went 15 days dna pcr
waiting for the report today
That is good
Please get back to me with the report
and I can suggest accordingly
if it came negative
no need to do another tests ?
May I know your age for the records?
All the best with the test result
what r the chances full intercorse like vaginal sex with an hiv+ female
chances are pretty high
if it is even 1 time also ?
You would definitely be under risk in such case
as of now ,in my case just vaginal fluids touched then
its low risk ?
It is low risk but the chances is always there
Do not worry
Please get your report
You should not panic in any ways
Wait for the report
and expect the best result
There is no point in worrying
Always practice safe sex
Most probably your result will be negative
ok but many tets have to wait up to 12 weeks ?
3 to 6 months ?
i heard that pcr s only for high risk only to advice
but in my case u saying its low
PCR is to detect HIV at earlier stage
i am confused and tensed to wait up to 3 momths ?
If your DNA PCR is negative, you don't have to repeat the test later
