User:I'm experiencing burning sensation in stomach
User:found out it to be gastric

User:but have been having this problem for a while, its not very often though
User:Could you please tell me what can i do about this
Doctor:Are you on any medicines for this
User:few years back i had an Ultrasound scan as suggested by a doctor , but the report was normal
Doctor:I 'll advice few measures which can help in getting some relief.
Doctor:Can I know your weight and height?
User:Height : 5.8
User:weight around 58-60kgs
Doctor:Fatty or fried foods, alcohol, chocolate, , garlic, onion, coffee and smoking are some of the precipitating and aggravating factors for these type of symptoms. So please try to avoid them
Doctor:Do not lie down after a meal
User:I don't take too much of these food types , also i don't smoke
Doctor:Ok. Nice!
Doctor:There are few medications like proton pump inhibitors which help in relieving burning sensation by their antiacid secretory properties
Doctor:But, rather than these medicines it is better to follow the measures which I told
User:Will follow that doctor, but i believe i have already been doing these
User:Are there any Tablets or anything you may suggest

User:will reduce those food types totally
User:Not able to bear the burning sensation
Doctor:Do you have any major illnesses like jaundice, kidney problems or liver problems?
User:No, i don't.
Doctor:Are you taking any other medicines?
User:No doctor, when i had XXXXXXX with an accident a year back i use to take some calcium medicines
User:Coz had a major fracture
Doctor:Take Pantaprazole 20 mg once daily, 30 minutes before breakfast for 3 days and follow all the above measures I told
Doctor:Still if there is no relief, then undergo an endoscopy to identify the cause.
User:Thank you doctor, will follow the measures and what if i feel the burning sensation during night or any time of the day
User:what do i do then
Doctor:Follow these things, it should be Ok.
Doctor:Try to eat fruits more
Doctor:like XXXXXXX banana
Doctor:Drink more water as well
