Doctor :   When was the last time you had a sexual activity?
User :   a month ago, but this has been going on since before that
Doctor :
OK. I shall explain it to you now.
Doctor :
Anal region has lot of glands that can secrete sweat and sebum.
Doctor :
This is partly due to the presence of excess hair and partly due to other factors.
Doctor :
Other factors include
User :   i trim my hair
Doctor :
excessive stress, increased moving activity.
Doctor :
There are few medical problems that can also cause excessive sweating, those include thyroid dysfunctions.
User :   but what about the itch also
Doctor :
At this point I would like to know if the sweating is only restricted to the anal region or you generally perspire more?
Doctor :
Itching can occur when there is bacterial contamination of the sweat that you secrete.
User :   i do perspire under my arms a lot
User :   i get very bad sweat stains in my armpits
Doctor :   The fact that anal region can contain lots of bacteria
Doctor :   So as long as there is excessive sweating and it stays there, itching can happen.
Doctor :   Are you following?
User :   yes
Doctor :   I shall suggest you few measure to help you in this problem.
User :   ok
Doctor :
First, since the bacteria that is around are normal commensals
Doctor :
It does not cause much harm skin.
Doctor :   Only if the bacteria infection is severe then you can have a problem.
Doctor :
Serious infection would cause severe itching, pain, swelling, discharge, pain while passing stools, discomfort in the anal region, fever and so on.
Doctor :
To prevent this from occurring, try avoiding injuries which can happen when you try trimming the hairs.
User :   ohhhhhh
User :   i have utmyself before while trimming
User :   cut
Doctor :   So avoid injuring your self.
Doctor :
If you find the hair are excessive, then attempt removing the hair.
Doctor :
2. You may use powder talc
User :   real quick...do u think it could be an std?
Doctor :
application of the powder talc can absorb the unwanted sweat.
Doctor :
It does not appear to be an STD
Doctor :
If you develop wart like growth,
Doctor :
or problems during passing stools, then you need have a check up to rule out STD.
Doctor :
Have you followed?
User :   yes
Doctor :   Do you have any other query?
User :   so try to not injur myself duing trimming
User :   and use talc powder
Doctor :
