Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :
How can I help you?
User :   Well, I am new to this and not entirey sure how this works.
User :   You are a licensed physician?
Doctor :   I am a General Practitioner, I believe I can help you within my expertise.

User :   Over the course of the last 6 years or so (i'm 26).... i have had problems... and I'm not sure how to explain it.. but with my ass.... I always put it with maybe no wiping properly... but i think there may be another issue
User :   in college... if sitting on leather... it would smell when i got up even if i jsut showered
User :   this continued... where my shorts would always smell....
User :   now... for the past few years... every so often, there is blood on my toilet paper....not a lot though
Doctor :
Ok
User :   more recently, like over the last year....
Doctor :
OK
User :   i sweat alot more... through my jeans too... where there is a line of sweat when i get up from sitting
Doctor :
The smell is probably secondary to your over sweating.
Doctor :
There are a few people in whom the sweat gland secrete more sweat.
User :   does it mean anything if i had a piloonidal cyst in high school? and had some surgery so it never came back?
Doctor :
It can cause abnoxious smell after some time.
User :   ok so do you have any questions to further diagnose? what should i do? etc?
Doctor :
Pilonidal cyst occurs as a complication of the presence of excessive hair in the region of the anus and is not related to your problem.
Doctor :
It is just probably due to increased sweat collections.
Doctor :
You may use underwears which can absorb sweat easily.
Doctor :
Like ones made up of sweat glands.
Doctor :   It would prevent the smell from happening.
Doctor :
You may get your thyroid hormones checked to see if you have any signs of hyperthyroidism.
User :   how do you figure? if im still sweating excessively and the underwear is merely absorbing more of the sweat... it's still going to smell? and what about the blood? and the overall smell?
Doctor :
Hyperthyroidism can cause excessive sweating.
Doctor :
Blood in the stools can occur secondary to hard stools.
Doctor :
It could also occur if you have fissures or hemorrhoids.
Doctor :
So let me ask a few question, to assess if you have any of these symptoms.
User :   ok.
Doctor :
Shall I proceed.
Doctor :
Do you have constipation?
Doctor :
Do you have pain while passing stools?
User :   No
User :   but, when i go to the bathroom, when i wipe, its as though im still not done going
User :   and it's kinda gross
User :   and thats when it ends up hurting... and becomes tender
User :   and burns almost when i try to clean it in the shower
Doctor :
Since when do you have you noticed that you passing blood in the stools?
Doctor :
I mean since when have you noticed the blood while passing stools?
User :   the last 2 days or so. but it happens on and off for the past few years
User :   its only when i wipe though
Doctor :
Do you have itching sensation around the anus?
User :   sometimes... liek the feeling when i have allergies... and my eyes itch.. and when i rub/scratch it gives a sensation but then doesnt feel good when im done?
User :   yes.
Doctor :
Do you have loss of appetite?
User :   nope. im always hungry and eat too much
Doctor :   Are your stools well formed or watery?
User :   a mixture. more gooey than anything
Doctor :
Have you noticed worms in the stools?
User :   worms??? like live things?
User :   nope
Doctor :   You may symptoms of passing blood may also be due to worm infestations.
User :   its not passing blood. i think its from wiping too hard/much
Doctor :   Only an examination can tell if that is a case of rubbing hard.
Doctor :
But your symptoms are similar to ones due to worm infestation too.
Doctor :
Hence i would suggest you to try medications for worm infestations.
Doctor :
You may need antibiotics which can help in that.
Doctor :
Hence I would suggest you to consult your local doctor for both
Doctor :
examination and for the antihelmintic treatment too.
Doctor :
Have you followed?
Doctor :
Are you there?
Doctor :
Are you there?
User :   yes, this doesnt make sense though
Doctor :
I shall make it more clear.
Doctor :
You problems may be due to
Doctor :
1. Excessive sweating which may be cause for the abnoxious smell that you notice.
Doctor :
2. SInce you have symptoms of incomplete evacuation, blood while you wipe after passing stools, and the itching, your symptoms
Doctor :
they could be sign of a helmintic infection
Doctor :
Hence i suggested that an antihelmintic infection could help you.
User :   this is something i should see a doctor NOW for... as opposed to next week?
User :   how is it diagnosed?
Doctor :
But like you mentioned that it may be because of rubbing hard, a physical examination of the skin around the anus would help in knowing the problem.
Doctor :
It is not an emergency.
User :   what type of doctor should i see?
Doctor :
You can check with your doctor with an appointment too.
Doctor :
A general physician can help you in treating the antihelmintic infection.
Doctor :
Lastly for the excessive sweating, wearing a cotton underwear, and using a powder should help in
Doctor :
absorption of the sweat and preventing the smell.
Doctor :
Hope it is clear now.
Doctor :
Have you followed?
Doctor :
Are you there?
