User :   Last night I vomited a large jelly like brown clot. I have had recurring abdominal pain, have been diagnosed with a hiatal hernia and am also awaiting an MRI to look for a stone and to look at some cysts in my liver. Should i be concerned?
Doctor :   Hi,
User :   Hello
Doctor :   The blood in the vomitus as in you can be expected due to ulcers which are common in hiatal hernia
Doctor :   you may need an endoscopy to rule out the same
Doctor :   Also another possibility could be due to esophageal variecies , which is commonly seen in liver problems ( portal hypertension )
User :   Thank you. I will contact my doctor.
Doctor :   you are welcome
Doctor :   is here anything i can help with ?
