User :   I had unprotected sex and ended up buying the "Next Choice" emergency contraceptive. A day or 2 later, I had sexual intercourse and this time, with my luck, the condom broke. I've been irregular with my menstrual cycle since I stopped taking birth control about 6 months ago, and now I have what seems like a the beginning of a menstrual cycle.
Would the levonorgestrel still be in my system to prevent a pregnancy with the condom breaking?
And could I possibly be pregnant if I'm showing signs of a period?
Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   Let me read it
User :   thank you.
Doctor :   Yes the levonorgestrel, would have postponed ovulation & altered the uterus
User :   should I get another ECP or would you assume I would be fine?
Doctor :   such that it is not good for penetration of sperm or implantation of embryo
Doctor :   You should get a Urine Pregnancy test done whenever in doubt
User :   would the results show up this early?
User :   its only been 50 hours since insemination
Doctor :   It will show up after a week
