User :   I am 32 male, and often still masterburate as a daily routine since I was 15. For me still masturbating, is this a risk of infertility in males
Doctor :   hi
Doctor :
User :   Hello
Doctor :
what is the frequency of your masturbation
Doctor :
User :   I mean I often have sex too
User :   well if I don't masturbate I have sex
User :   a day
User :   sometimes even twice
User :   but daily
Doctor :
Doctor :
mastubation or having sex daily will not lead to infertility
User :   some say its healthy to have sex and masturbate
User :   but as I am getting older I just want to know if it is still safe
Doctor :
overmasturbation can lead to problems like erectile dysfunction
Doctor :
and premature ejaculation later
User :   ok well I am fine with that
User :   well for now, I guess
Doctor :
having sex with a single partner and protected, is fine, and if not then chances of infection and STD are there
User :   just wanna make sure I have not had any kids, so I was hoping I dont have issue with sperm count or anything like that
Doctor :
that can hamper the normal sperm production and qualiy of teh semen
User :   single partner always
Doctor :
User :   well we have not decided in kids yet as we are still not married
Doctor :
you can get a semen analysis done to see the quantity and quality of sperms
Doctor :
and also the attributes of semen
User :   so that is later for me to think about , maybe in 3 years
Doctor :   and if the report comes out fine, then you do not have to worry
User :   but for a male around my age, daily masturbation is not good?
Doctor :
but continue to practice safe sex measures
Doctor :
masturbation more than 14 times per week is considered overmasturbation
User :   is that # valid if you are in the thirties?
Doctor :
if your partner is having any symptoms of STD or infection like foul smel, dischrage, itching
User :   nothing like std syptoms
Doctor :
then both should get tested for possible infection and take treatment simultaneously to
Doctor :
prevent recurrence
User :   so we are safe on that end
Doctor :
and avoid having intercourse during the treatment
Doctor :
User :   but semen analysis sounds sound expensive
User :   don't have medical benefits yet from work as I am not full-time
Doctor :
Doctor :   there are home semen analysis kits also avialable

User :   have you ever done a semen analysis or know how expensive that might be
Doctor :
you can see if you can do it with them
User :   I see
Doctor :
and usually the cost of semen analysis in any lab should be between $25 to $35.
User :   so I guess my question is that men can't become infertile but women can, correct?
Doctor :
so its not that very expensive
Doctor :
have you followed what I have said?
User :   yes I have
Doctor :
is there anything else you would like to ask me?
User :   yes there is,
User :   one last question
Doctor :
ok. please proceed
User :   I guess I am just being overly cautious
User :   but can men still become infertile? or saying that even if they produce semen and or erectile, can they be infertile
User :   or meaning to impregnate a women
User :   sorry did that makes sense?
User :   hello?
