User :   hi i have a bad earache. i was going to take amoxicillen i have at my house that i never used to i see the doctor. its from may. is it safe to take it. the expiration date is may 2009
Doctor :   No it is not safe to take Amoxycillin
User :   why is it not safe
Doctor :   Usually the infections of the ears are caused by different aerobic and anaerobic organisms

Doctor :   but the amoxycillin doesnt benefit from all of them
Doctor :   so depends on the discharge its quatnity and color and your history

User :   I have jaw pain sometimes I have seen the doctor there is nothing they really can do i ice and ibuprofen.

User :   I have canker sores in my mouth that are sore

User :   I think it might just be a cold. I felt dizzy a couple days ago and had head pressure. That went away.

User :   Now my throat is a little sore and I have canker sores and my ears hurt somewhat.
User :   The pain has gotten somewhat better especially with the canker sores.
