User :   i need to talk to an ent doc

User :   i am having a severe pain in my left ear

Doctor :   any fever, discharge, and how long have u had this ?
User :   i had cold 2 days back
User :   since morning only the ear pain has started
User :   cold has gone very mild now though
Doctor :   have u taken any meds ?
User :   no not yet
Doctor :   do u have any nose block, running nose etc ?
User :   i had running nose 2 days back & now it is like very mild nose blockage
User :   the ear pain is getting to my neck
User :   the area where we get tonsillitus (sorry for hte spelling)
Doctor :   i would suggest you take some antihistaminnics, to releive the allergic symptoms, Ibuprofen to relieve pain and ultimately u may need antibiotics, for this infection you have
User :   do u think the ear pain is related to cold?

Doctor :   the nose and the ear are connected by a inner tube (eustacian tube)
User :   and tonssils ??
User :   any chance of that?
Doctor :   so the infection if occurs in nose, can speread to throat, ear and air sinuses in the nasal cavity causing sinusitis, tonsillitis, and otitis medica
