User :   Hello, I am a 42 year old woman.

User :   On Tuesday I started experiencing shortness of breath

User :   On Sunday I rode my elliptical trainer for 40 min ( I do this 3 times a week), I'm very active and backpack often.
User :   I also smoke medical marijuana for depression

User :   I have been taking the Nuvaring contraception until 2 days ago when the symptoms started I took it out

User :   Basically, I can't exert myself any way without my heart pounding

User :   I live in a small town yesterday I saw my nurse practitioner, blood pressure normal, my pulse was 63 (although I was at rest) and my EKG was normal
User :   this morning I walked downstairs and my heart was pounding like crazy...the nurse basically dismissed all my symptoms yesterday

User :   is the 99% oxygen saturation consistent with these symptoms?
Doctor :   oxygen saturation is nothing to do with the present situation

and you check when you are dyspnic it will be reduced

so it only indicates present oxygen content of the blood

get the previous EKG interpreted by a doctor and he many advise echo cardiograph also.

User :   I can still function fairly well, it just does not feel good...and it does seem to improve over the course of the day. I was feeling pretty good last night
