User :   HI , Doctor, My son aged 17 months having high fever (vomitted 4 times since yesterday ) and loose motions since evening. gave Maftal-P for fever and Ofloxacin, emeset, along with Oral Solutions as suggested by Paediatrician. To control fever giving cool pack ( cotton cloth dipped in water). but still fever is high . any solution ?

User :   nope. but by sense I can see it is high..
Doctor :   ok, May i know dosage of the meftal P you are giving ?
User :   gave 4 ml thrice or four times today
Doctor :   i would ask you to stop meftal P and give him SYP IBUGESIC 250 5 ml thrice daily

Doctor :   he needs extra paracetamol dosage , continue tepid sponging

Doctor :   i suspect infection in his stomach and intestines , as he has the symptoms which give a clue
