User :   i'm a 31 year old male, height 5'11"
User :   my weight is 118 kgs
User :   i was diagnosed with hypo thyroid in early 2009
User :   the thyroid score (i believe TSH) was 9.1
User :   the physician started off with thyroxin 0.25
User :   and thyroid was under control (went upto 1.1)
User :   but off late its again getting out of control
User :   the latest report indicated 7.1
User :   do i increase my dosage?

User :   about a fortnight back

Doctor :   Since you started with thyroxine is this the first time you again got it checked.
User :   i keep getting the tests done every quarter
User :   in the past the reports were fine
User :   but this time around it showed 7.1
Doctor :   You get your Free T3 and T4 investigated.
User :   yes, as a part of the report
User :   in the latest report also, T3 and T4 were well within the range
User :   in fact, almost in the 'middle' of the range
User :   only TSH is out of rang

Doctor :   I mean did you get your free T3and T4 with TSH investigated or was it only T3 and T4?
User :   yes, everytime i get all the three tested together
Doctor :   It will be better that you discuss this with a endocrinologist. Without proper examination the dosage cannot be increased.
