Doctor says this is a typhoid starting stage and I need more rest. Anybody has better suggestions for me? like Dos and Donts at this stage??

Doctor :   At least 15 to 20 days of rest is required and then again tests will be repeated and decided accordingly.
User :   ah, doctor says, its a starting so 3 days is enough. He asked me to come after 3 days
Doctor :   Typhoid is caused by a bacteria called Salmonella .The bacteria are deposited in water or food by a human carrier and are then spread to other people in the area.
Doctor :   Proper hygiene is very necessary.
Doctor :   I think you should take adequate rest.
User :   okay, what do I do to gain weight
Doctor :   First of all get this typhoid cured then have a proper balanced diet of six small meals a day.
Doctor :   You should also go for half an hour of walk daily.
User :   okay. What do you mean by taking rest. SImply lyiing on bed ??
User :   6 small meals?? what kind of meals. I always prefer rice
Doctor :   Just lie on bed and do not be stressed

Doctor :   Have more of proteins daily which are found in dals , beans, rajma, cabbage, eggs, cereals

Doctor :   Have milk in morning with Protein ex Powder and 1 banana.
User :   since I am in night shift, Evening is my morning food, midnight is my lunch and breakfast is my dinner

User :   the problem is I eat like a child, I dont eat much..

User :   but the doctor told me like, There might be some causes of TB, less blood cells.

User :   3 litres of water?? that is huge, I have never drunk more than 500 ML
Doctor :   In whole day you can take 3 litres, you do not have to take it at one time.
