Doctor:that you typed earlier
Doctor:What is your confusion
User:i see that most of the enzymes were not in its normal range
User:i am bit scared now
Doctor:Apart from Alk phosphatase I do not see a higher value
User:i used to drink alcohol 3 months back....
User:but now i am in complete abstinence period...
User:just wanted to know if there is any link to any type of liver disease like hepatitis b or so ??
Doctor:Isolated alk phosphatase would be related to bone disease or liver disease
Doctor:in your case GGT is normal, so I do not see a concern with liver
Doctor:But a previous alcoholism is linked to higher Alk phosphatase
Doctor:Although alkaline phosphatase elevation does not always signal the presence of disease, any elevation would prompt me to redo the investigation and also wish to know your medication use apart from alcohol, looking for hepatotoxic drugs
User:i used to take coenzme q10
User:300 mg
Doctor:Now are you continueing?
Doctor:This is could be a reason, the other is past alcohlic habit are two reasons for the value
User:I used to take the following drugs until 2 months back
User:should i do any other lab test ???
Doctor:Anyway just do not be concerned. 1) Repeat Alk Phosphatase 2) Anti HCV 3) Anti HBV
