User :   and i done a sample this am and wnt back in the afternoon and the sample had sedement and was pink at the bottom
User :   no syptms
Doctor :   ok
User :   so what is it
Doctor :   well pink color can be caused by eating certain foods
User :   nothing unsall
Doctor :   food with dye can cause a pink hue in your urine
Doctor :   think about what you have eaten recently ?
User :   the sample was straw colour to start with
Doctor :   do any of the food had red food coloring ?

User :   pink
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   now the most common cause of this is a URINARY TRACK INFECTION
Doctor :   It can cause pink coloration and also sediments
Doctor :   the next step here would be to undergo a urine analysis
Doctor :   dont worry its nothing serious
Doctor :   just a round of antibiotics will take care of it
User :   they are thats why ive seen it today yesterday want lke it , i have to do one am and pm
User :   while i am working with benzene
Doctor :   how much exposure you have had ?
Doctor :   and since how many days or years ?
User :   am unsure of the ppm but i had a benzine mask on once i smelt it
User :   yesteday was the start of this
User :   i work with it not that regular
Doctor :   well for it to be a bladder cancer caused by benzene exposure you need to be exposed to a substantial amount and that too for years minimum
Doctor :   so dont worry
User :   but really smellt it yesterday and wore mask and still got headache
User :   i aint worried about cancer
User :   i wanna know why there is sedement and why pink
Doctor :   minimum you should have been exposed for 3- 4 YEARS . for cancer to develop
User :   but why sediment
Doctor :   It is also characteristic of a urinary tract disorder in which bleeding occurs such as cystitis, enlarged prostate, kidney problem, bladder stones, kidney infection, can also cause urine to take on these colors. It may also occur after trauma to the kidneys or urinary tract.
Doctor :   but i can assure you that it will a simple UTI
User :   the sedient was pink and whenpassig urine it was normal straw colour
Doctor :   which is the MOST common
User :   once i shook it it all turned pink
Doctor :   only a analysis will tell us the the exact cause
User :   ok but its not serouis
Doctor :   no not at all you can remove the cancer scare from your mind
User :   to be fair wasnt worried about that
Doctor :   just wait for the results and like i said a antibiotic course will take care of it
User :   ok thanks
Doctor :   have you noticed any burning sensation while urinating ?
User :   nope none
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   Despite its alarming appearance, pink urine isn't necessarily serious.
Doctor :   so we should wait for the test results
Doctor :   so we can pinpoint the cause
User :   ok cheers for that
Doctor :   take care of yourself
