User :   Hello Doctor, My 6 year old son is swallowing the food with out chewing. Becase of this he is taking only very few foods and having difficulty in speech. He speak only few words only using lips but not using his tounge. He does not have hearing problem. Looking forwards for your advice.

He speak only few words only using lips but not using his tounge. His tounge movement is very limited. He does not have tounge tie. He does not have hearing problem. Looking forwards for your advice help in solving this problem. Medical History: Delivery: Normal delivery Milestone development: There was some delay in the milestone development. Neck control in 6 months. He started sitting at 1 year. Started walking after 1 and half years. We have been giving him Occupational therapy and speech therapy. He is going to special school. User :   after the therapy he started speaking some words. but the sentence formation is not there still.
