User :   2 months ago i developed this pain, i have this upper abdominal pain for which i am receiving treatment

User :   the doc says that it is gastric
User :   the problem is i do not know what to eat

User :   i have given various tests
User :   blood test, stool test
User :   one of the tests confirmed some sort of bacteria
User :   and it was confirmed negative for hi poleri

User :   i am treated with pantozol 40 mg

User :   earlier i was on a very strong antibiotics

User :   which caused nausea, weakness and dizziness

User :   i need to what is the diet i need to follow
User :   i usually cook at home
User :   i started having lot of raw vegetables and with some bolied meat(chicken/mutton/fish)

User :   but when i have raw vegetables like carrot, cucumber, letttuce, peas
User :   seems like it generates gas
Doctor :   Avoid eating fried, fatty, junk foods, and excessive chocolates.
Doctor :   Avoid eating onions, citrus fruits, spicy foods, as they worsen the acid reflux or acidity disease.
Doctor :   Alcohol and Caffeine in any form should be stopped
Doctor :   Avoid eating protein-rich and calcium-rich foods like milk and dairy products at night.
Doctor :   Quit Smoking if you do smoke
User :   i stopped milk
Doctor :   Eat dinner two to three hours before sleep.
User :   i used to but i have not touched a cigarrete sice 2 months

Doctor :   Well you shall need to keep up the good effort here after too
Doctor :   Drink at least 4-5 liters of water during the day
User :   i have not had alchol till last night
Doctor :   Eat small meals by dividing your regular 3 meals during the day to 5 meals during the day, taking care to see that you do not keep your stomack empty for more than 4 hours.

Doctor :   You need to take at least 3-4 liters minimal during the day
User :   yes iam having small meals summing upto 5 meals a day

User :   i work out at the gym so i need lot of proteins and zero fat food so i do not know what to include in my diet

Doctor :   regular bread has much less fibre and has more carbohydrates and is much more fattening than brown bread

User :   doc, what abt dal? coz i cook dal without tamrind
User :   and add tomatoes only sometimes
User :   coz i have totally stopped sour food items

Doctor :   more amount of pulses can lead to gas formation.
User :   doc what abt sprouts

User :   i am having lot of curds and banana i dont know how good it is for me
Doctor :   They are good protein sources but you should remember that sprouts, beans, pulses and legumes can lead to flatulence
Doctor :   curds and banana are good but they are high calorie and if you are looking for weight reduction, they must be avoided
User :   coz i feel some sort of soothing effect in my stomuch when have curds and banana

User :   doc does this infection lead to ulcer or iam in the initial stages of ulcer
Doctor :   As you were tested negative for H. Pylori
Doctor :   there is probably no infection
Doctor :   and whether the ulcer is formed or not yet can be confirmed only by endoscopy.
User :   i have done xray and i think i have got endoscopy report
User :   overall report said everything is fine only some gas boules found on the left side of my abdomen
Doctor :   Then you have no ulcer and the symptoms are probably of acidity
Doctor :   also known as Acid Peptic Disease (APD)
User :   doc for endoscopy do they ask u to have lot of water before doing the
Doctor :   Yes.
User :   i had a test
User :   i was advised to have a lot of water

User :   there was nothing found in the test
User :   so u are advising me to continiue the same medication

User :   so there is no need for panic , coz i was worried if it was peptic Ulcer

Doctor :   was normal, there is nothing to worry
User :   so it is just the bacteria which has to be got rid off
