i am Looking for a diet chart to cut some KGs
on the other hand i am power lifter and totally confuse, how to balance between two!!!
I'll tell you about the basic principles of losing weight
and then you can login and request for a personalized diet and fitness plan.
Does that sound ok?
The first is eating right
You would need to eat every 2 hours
Small meals every 2 hours
The next is breakfast needs to be the heaviest meal and dinner is supposed to be the lightest
Thrdly, dinner should be not after 8:30 pm
Next, totally avoid all junk, XXXXXXX fried food and sweets
Drink atleast 2-3 litres of water in a day
So, begin with a fruit and a healthy breakfast
at say 7-8 am
Then every 2 hours, eat something small
So at 10 am , you can have some tea with 2 XXXXXXX biscuits
at 12 pm, eat 1/2 of your lunch
at 2 pm, eat the rest of the half
at 4 pm, some fruit/bhel/sandwich
6 pm- half your dinner
and 8 pm -the rest of the half
I am assuming lunch/dinner would be 2-3 rotis +dal/curd+subji

Thanks for your advice doctor, i know all these basics and following the same, however the point in i m POWERLIFTER(Who lift Heavy weights in the gym)
And I also consume lots of food supplements like protein, caffeine, 1-3, etc etc
Now my point is how to balance??
cant do that
Its not required and it damages the kidneys
they all are certified and approved sports supplements
A balanced diet with extra protein will serve the purpose for you

I would still suggest the same
There are several reasons which I'll try and explain
First, protein doesnt get stored in your body
So your body takes only what is required
So even if you have a lot of protein, it gets excreted
So extra protein, just puts a load on our kidneys
Second, we are Indians
These 2 diseases anyway damage the kidneys
Do you actually want to damange them more?
Third, when you can get the same protein from dietary sources, why do you want to take those supplements
Have you seen a pack of medicines?
Do they ever write the side effects on the strip?
But that does not mean the drug doesnt have side effects
Each of these drugs is also approved and certified
That does not mean I prescribe them or use them indiscriminately
These supplements are good for people who cant eat
Who are bed ridden
because their rate of catabolism is so high that all the muscles in their body are being broken down

Is there any scientific formula?
ideally it should be 1g/kg body weight
But you can take in something slightly higher also
Thats because no food is 100% protein
Next, is the exercise part
It has to be moderate
So it can be jogging, walking, skipping
Whatever you like
But mostly, its about eating right
my schedule goes like this: one and half hour in the morning i LIFT and late evening i jog for 5 KMs
How much time for the jog?
That should do
You can make it upto 50 minutes
But there is 1 thing I'd like to tell you
There will only be a slight reduction in weight
Because you are weight training
But rest assures, the body fat content will go ddown
so you have nothing to worry about
that is my point..Complete day exercise schedule is more than 2 hoursâ¦ what diet should I take which gives me energy to sustain and the loose weight aswell.. and yes 10 hours of office

Every portion size to be the size of your fist
so basically 1 fistful of food every 2 hours
It will make you very active also
I also believe that pranayam can also help
So kapalbhati 500 times/day will really boost your metabolism

Its not so much about weight loss as it is about reducing the fat content
Eating right will reduce the fat content
My height is 5â9 and weight is 79 and BMI if 25.5, need to reduce 7 kgs to have corrected BMI. and fat percentage is somewhere around 17%
The fat percentage is just fine
The BMI needs to be interpreted with caution
If it's just muscle weight. its fine
we dont want to add kilos in that inactive fat segment
i dont know the exact name of process, it is done by my personal trainer using some equipments
Its not a DEXA scan then
Just follow the eating right principle and do some pranayam
It will make you energetic
and help you lose some weight
Even though it may not be a lot of weight that you would lose
