User :   i am 52 years old. im 5'6 and i weigh 108 pounds. i just had my bloodwork completed and found my cholestrol was 203 an increase of 25 points within 2 year. my hdl went from 92 to 74, my ldl went from 69 to 111. i have been excercising 3 days per week and im very conscious of labels on the food i purchase. my down fall is candy. i eat alot of sweet candy (not chocolate)and i think that is the reason why my cholestrol increased. Is this a way your cholestrol can increase? since ive gotten my results back, i started running a mile the walking a mile everyday n i eliminated candy completely from my diet. im not sure what to even eat as snacks like is canned fruits the same as fresh fruits in the nutrition aspect? should i eat salads, grilled chicken n fish only for dinners now? i dnt want to lose any weight cuz im already very thin n if i continue to run everyday im afraid ill lose weight? please advise.
