User :   my son is 3 and 1/2 years old and is running temp for past ten days...
Doctor :   how are the temperature readings?
Doctor :   does he have any other associated symptoms?
Doctor :   if yes, please describe his symptoms in detail
User :   initially i gave him ibugesic plus to control the temparature and used to administer the same once every six hours... temp readings were around 102-103
User :   along with chest congestion
User :   then we alternated between one dose of ibugesic and one dose of crocin every 6 hours

Doctor :   what symptoms does he have at present?
User :   now for the past 2 days we have given him calpal and the fever is recurring once in 8-9 hours
User :   the blood test and culture was done... culture shows no growth... urine routine is also normal
Doctor :   was blood test done for widal, and malaria?
User :   malarial parasite shows negative
User :   is it normal fever and in probably a day or two will is stop?
Doctor :   it should stop if his other symptoms are coming down
User :   he becomes dull only when the temp is raising...
Doctor :   what about his chest congestion? could you describe his symptoms?
User :   otherwise he is quite normal....
User :   he is being administered seroflo for the past three months for his brochial infection...
Doctor :   is he producing sputum? if yes and taking out, what is color?
Doctor :   does he having wheezing?
User :   no...
Doctor :   is there any sounds when he breathes?
User :   he does not have heavy breathing
User :   only normal breathing, though when i feel his chest i can feel the congestion.
User :   once or twice when he coughs i can hear the congestion

Doctor :   if the congestion has lasted for more than 5-7 days, then
Doctor :   he might need to be got started on antibiotics
Doctor :   a chest examination by a pediatrician will confirm if infection is present
User :   he is on taximo 5 ml twice a day for the past 4 days...
Doctor :   and get him started on the appropriate antibiotics
Doctor :   is he better after getting started on Taxim-O?
User :   thats when the duration of the paracetamol administration started increasing from 6-8 hrs
Doctor :   ok.
Doctor :   so continue to give hin teh Taxim-O as prescribed
Doctor :   along with Crocin syrup every 8 hours
Doctor :   he shoul dbe fine in next 2-3 days
User :   my concern was is it okay to give paracetamol for so long?
Doctor :   antibiotics take about 5 days to show complete effect
User :   ok
User :   his ESR count was also very hig
Doctor :   yes it is fine. continue to give him am high protein diet
User :   it was initially 90
Doctor :   ESR is generally raised in all cases when any infection is present in body.

User :   can eggs be administered when he is having chest congestion?
Doctor :   maintain good diet for him , give him citrus fruits/juices a small amount to help increase Vit-C
Doctor :   and increase immunity

Doctor :   yes you should give him atleast 1 egg per day, if possible in boiled form especially teh yellow part
Doctor :   that is high in protein
User :   its okay despite his brochial infection?
Doctor :   give him rajma, soya, nutrela, chola kinds one item each per day
Doctor :   there is no need to fear in giving it. it will help to recover faster

User :   only citrus fruits are ok, right?
