User:i have got couple of questions

User:i am 51 years old male
User:working in insurance it dept
User:for the last few years my bilirubin count is showing in the range of 2-3 total
User:and i have heavy acidity problem..

User:i consultated one gastroentologist in 2010 ...he said it XXXXXXX syndrome
User:no..i dont take drinks or smoke
User:he said anxity is causing aerophase(blowing) and said no treatment

User:but the issue was it was getting to worst an my weight which was hovering around 72 kgs for almost more than 10-15 years got reduced to arund 62 and thereafter
User:i coneagain approached anotehr specalist in gastro inpune who has suggested me

User:i did that in 2012 aug and the result is H PYLORI POSITIVE GASTRITIS IN THE BODY

User:but the issue was i was not taking much water then and now i had started consuming

User:now i have got increased to 69 kgs--hovring about 68-69 mostly

User:and when i had taken treatmnent he has given initially sompraz hp -3 tables for 14 days

User:and thereafter somparz 40mg once a day for 45 days
User:that was in sept 2012.
Doctor:treatment for H pylori will have 4 drugs antibiotics mostly for a period of minimum 4 weeks
User:now on and off this issue comes and if i take for a week this sompraz it may get better

User:a. sompraz hp for 14 days which is a medicine of 3 pieces in a single strip which is one each for morning, afn and night which is marked in the strip itself
User:and after 14 days, sompraz 40 mg was told once a day for 30 days
User:which i finished of..both sompraz hp for 14 daysand sompraz 40 thereafter for 30 days

Doctor:You have taken the correct treatment
Doctor:But did you test for H pylori after the completion of treatment?
User:but still it is not getting better
Doctor:please repeat the test for H pylori
User:eventhough on and off it is ok, but still i am not 100% comfortable

Doctor:I think you need to take another course of same medication
Doctor:repeat the test and treatment also, if required

User:so, you mean to say that insted of going for the barium test, let us first redo the endo oncegain
