User:I was typing because I am concerned with a low blood pressure
User:When laying on my left side and taking reading from right arm
Doctor:may I know your age and ur BP readings ?
User:I was very low readings....85/50, 96/48, 87/54
User:I am 30 Yr old male
User:5'11 175 lbs
User:On back though, on average, blood pressure at night is 108/68
User:In morning and during day, 120/72
Doctor:Do u have any symptoms ofr issues like nausea vomiting, etc ?
User:But laying on left side, seems to see it plummet
User:No. It's while laying down. But I do get chest pains and have been diagnosed with costochondritis
User:I had a nuclear stress test, all normal and all echo's and ekg's always normal
User:But I am concerned something is being missed
User:My resting pulse is in mid to low 60's but sometimes just standing in place can be 90+
User:My pains and heart rate seem to worsen with exertion
User:199 total cholesterol, 140 ldl
Doctor:first and foremost, as long as you are not having any symptoms, and signs, there is nothing to worry about
User:Recently lost 25 lbs due to dieting
Doctor:yOUR heart rate is normal
User:Ok, in last month, two times I have awoken with rapid heart beat and a spasm/dancing of heart
User:Middle of night- heart rate near or above 100
User:Is that a "sign" or "symptom"
User:Each time, I was on left side
User:Still there?
Doctor:that is completely fine
User:No? What is that? Bad dream?
Doctor:the main issues that can caused by low P are syncope, loss of conciousness, etc
User:So is a 85/50 too low?
Doctor:yes, anxiety can cause such heart rate changes
User:Sorry- can you define syncope?
User:Anxiety possible while sleeping?
Doctor:syncope, is sudden loss of consciousness
User:Does my typing/ symptoms sound as "anxious"?
Doctor:yes bad dreams, can cause lack of sleep, or disturbed sleep
User:Can lower bp be attributed to recent weight loss?
User:I'm also practicing 3000mg aver daily sodium intake
Doctor:your history, and your symptoms could be attributed to anxiety or it could be a physiological changes
Doctor:can u mention me the BP on sitting position ?
User:On average. 115/72
Doctor:that is completely normal
Doctor:when u check ur BP, on one side, the blood flow to the heart changes
Doctor:and infact it is reduced
User:I do get chest spasming that at times takes my breath
Doctor:hence it can produced a low reading in the BP
User:Is that from costochondritis?
User:I just did bp lying on back
User:111/70 w 70 pulse
Doctor:that is very normal
Doctor:costocondritis, is a musculoskeltal issue ,and can cause pain, and such pain usually increases the BP
Doctor:but its not affecting your BP, here
User:Can it also cause chest spasms?
User:I worry that I may have the following
Doctor:yes, it can cause chest spasms and painful episodes
User:- Enlarged heart
User:- Atrial fibrillation
User:- Heart tumor
Doctor:how did u get that info
User:I read it online
User:I had an echocardiogram, EKG, stress test with the XXXXXXX and MRI done in XXXXXXX
Doctor:if u had such conditions, you would have a syncopes, faiting episodes, and swelling of feet, , breathless XXXXXXX etc
User:Would such an issue been discovered?
Doctor:but i do not think u have them
Doctor:as your tests mentioned would have detected them
User:And if so, could my heart change in 7 months?
Doctor:and they are not seen in a young individual, without nay medical issues
Doctor:heart cannot change to worse in so fast rate
Doctor:Hope you have followed my suggestions
Doctor:take care and bye for now
