Any other symptoms?
Does your mom have any other symptoms?
What else does she have?
I will ask a few questions to help you better.
Does she have any chronic medical conditions like diabetes?
What does she have?
yes, she is having diabetics
The one thats needs oral medicines is type 2
Does she take calcium supplements?
Does she have any fever?
Did she have a recent sore throat?
A pain in stomach?
Mostly it seems to be an isolated joint pain, not associated with a systemic condition
Has she tried any medicine
she is saying full of body pains
She needs to take two things right away
A pain-killer like brufen
and she has to be calcium supplements
like calcium sandoz
Further testing is warranted as she she seems to be in a lot of pain
Testing should happen in a hospital setting
where x-rays etc are available
which doctor i need to consult?
You may see an orthopedician
He may prescribe stronger pain-killers
calcium sandoz what is the dose?
buy the one for women
she can take it two times a day
I forgot one thing
Which medicine is she taking for diabetes?
I just need to see if it is not a side-effect of the medicine
before using these, she is having the pains
Since when does she have the pains?
since 1 mnth
and when did she start on these medicines?
these medicines she started from 3 days
before that she use to take some different medicines
Which were those?
Joint pain can be a side effect of januvia
she is using earlier
Why did she change medicines?
doctor suggested to change
Was her sugar not controlled?
it increased to 300
Is she taking precautions for diet and exercise?
Did you check her sugar today?
she is not following,
yes 3days back i checkd
it is 297
I suggest that you head for emergency department/ diabetes specialist as she may be having a complication of increased blood sugar.
After making sure that she is not having a complication, you may go for orthopedician.
She may need saline, potassium supplements etc, which should be given after investigations.
It is better to be on safe side
