User :   Day quil nyquil multi sym helps some.
Doctor :   do u have any prior medical illness like Tuberculosis, asthma, any prior hisotry of pneumonia
User :   cough drops do not.

User :   As for as asthma. The first doctor I went to thought I had asthma. But what he tried did not work. I went to another doctor and he sent me to a lung doctor

User :   It runs on both sides of my family. I have been tested every few years. mostly just a low blood sugar.

User :   no never
Doctor :   do u have any family history of lung disease, or any other medical condition? also any childhood history of any serious pneumonia

User :   My dad has lung issues now. But he spent 30 years working a hot press in a plywood mill
Doctor :   I GUESS from your MRI report that u mentioned that there were some scaring
User :   He gets a shot every 6 mouths and he is fine. For a guy in his 80,s

Doctor :   please give me details regarding your lifestyle - are u physically active? do u workout? are u able to sleep well at night ?
User :   very active until 7 years ago. right knee. So that has slowed me. no more racket ball.
Doctor :   from what info i have derived from you, it seems to me, that it is time for you to get a pulmonary function test done ( as the previous test was done last year)
User :   But I still keep moving around. Well up until June.
User :   I used to sleep 6 hours a day. Now I can not get enough sleep.
User :   Will wake up coughing. After 4 to 5 hours.
Doctor :   is it coz, it is disturbed due to cough? OR shortness of breath?
User :   Sometimes I will cough for over 2 hours.
Doctor :   so do u have any swelling of your legs?

User :   my breath is much better
User :   not now. Before when I was playing racketball right knee or right shoulder would swell. For a day or tow.

Doctor :   have u had any chest pain while working or at rest? any EKG done before ? OR have u underwent any stress test before ?
User :   yes EKG all look good. chest pain in right side at shoulder.
User :   I will sweet a lot sometimes. Head fells hot. But spine will be freezing
Doctor :   THE pain, u r telling, could be due to arthritis
Doctor :   DO U HAVE trouble bending forwards or sidewards?
User :   Arthritis or a nerve.
User :   No problems I have never been real flexable.
Doctor :   can u describe the pain in the back & shoulder? & what do u mean by freezing spine ?
User :   I have been cold before. But this is different. Four inches down from neck to seven inches from butt. spine in just freezing for 20 or 30 minutes
User :   shoulder after I cough feels like it is coming apart. Like when I though it out.
Doctor :   does this happen after physical activity or after a bout of cough ? DO u also feel the same way about your other joints like knee, hips, etc?
Doctor :   i mean to say about the frozen spine?
User :   Just coughing.
Doctor :   any kind of fever, and do u bring out any phlegm? if so please describe the splegm - is is greenish or whitish AND is is of large volume?
User :   ok physical activity on right knee and right shoulder. But that is old.
User :   Fever off and on with the sweets. But is after coughing
User :   what I vomit is what I had eat 3 hours before.
User :   I have twice A yellow paste about 2 ounces. That burns the back of my mouth

User :   no
User :   Have not been out of washington or oregon in 5 years
Doctor :   so from what i have come to conclusion from so far, is that you have had 3 months of fever with sweats (on & off) with persistant cough that is basically at night and it disturbs your sleep

Doctor :   u have some chest tightness, that u feel make your spine feel frozen
User :   night and day cough
Doctor :   ur PFT done last year - had some air in lung , is that right ?
User :   That is getting worse everyday
Doctor :   also ur ECHO - heart & EKG were normal as u have mentioned
User :   yes Lung test 3 tmes last years and 3 times this year
User :   yes echo and ekg good
Doctor :   SO what did the lung tests done - this year - indicate - were they normal ?
User :   some scaring. Air volume improving
User :   Air in blood fine
Doctor :   so what i consider you must do is -
Doctor :   when u see your physician next time (aug 31st) -
Doctor :   u will ahve to get your self checked for TUBERCULOSIS
Doctor :   THAT is get a sputum examination done
User :   ok
Doctor :   as well as get a allergy test - done to rule out allegic conditions
Doctor :   get a Xray of your spine - to rule out any spinal sisues
