User :   so i am an international student studying abroad

User :   when i first came to university it was a nightmare for me. i was not even 18 yet and i felt really down all the time crying. i dont think i was suffering from depression but since then
User :   i have a phobia whenever i feel down that this will happen to me again.
User :   although everything is okay. i love my course i have friends i dont miss my family at all. i am just afraid of having the thoughts and emotions i had then
User :   i try to convince my self that nothing is going to happen but every now and then i have this phobia returning

User :   there are times when people tell me to go out with them firstly i say okay but then i find excuses and idont go. i dont know why that happens to me sometimes. it is not depression symptoms isnt it?
Doctor :   but persistant negative thoughts need to bee counsellled and the underlying cause be solved

Doctor :   it could be social anxiety
User :   i just want to be okay and happy. do not think about negative things. whenever i think of something i am stressed about it. for example i remembered my last year in uni and i am afraid if i will returtn to the bad old days. or there are times i am afraid if i get sick but then i am okay all of a sudden.
User :   and it only happens when i am abroad

Doctor :   that is more common to occur when u r in a external unknown environment

User :   i am not a shy person though. whenever i go out i meet new friends and i am easygoing. really extroverted i make friends really easily. the only problem is do not thing negative things and i will be okay

Doctor :   just see your physician and discuss all such problems and he can counsell u well
User :   i find myself into situations like those i refferd to before when i am all alone and i have nothing to keep me busy. a lot of things run through my mind and i will grab the most negative things to make me anxious. and i know that this is not right and i dont want it for myself. and i am really blaming myself for that because there is no reason feeling like that.
