Doctor :   i do not want to guess the chances as guess will not work out

Doctor :   instead of so much of elisa and tridot why did you not got the DNA PCR analysis
Doctor :
if DNA PCR is negative it means you are not having the infection
User :   can u tell me which hospital will do dna pcr and whats it cost??

it is quite costly
Doctor :   and in bangalore all the big diagnostic centers like ANand diagnostic denter in the shivaginagar will do this test

Doctor :   yes you have the risky behavior of having the unprotected sex
Doctor :
and whether you have been infected or not that will be diagnosed by the test
Doctor :   there is some thing called window period
Doctor :
in which your elisa and tridot will be negative
User :   doctor i accept that i made this mistake but believe me this was my first and i have decided that its last too but what i need to know is the answer from u like "chance"
User :   see what ur saying i have read everything on net
Doctor :   yes
User :   window period
Doctor :

User :   and acute hiv symptoms etc etc
User :   but tell me

User :   no headache
User :   only common cold which lasted for 5 days
User :   at the 4th months

Doctor :   the latent period for somebody to manifest the symptoms vary from 6 months to 5 years
Doctor :
from the time of infectivity
Doctor :
any ways the multiple tests being negative do say the chances are very low that you are infected
Doctor :   it does not rule out completely

User :   then u mean elisa test after 6 months only is confirmative?
Doctor :   i said confirmative test is DNA PCR
User :   my family doctor said elisa test at 4th month negative means 99% not infected
Doctor :   but what about 1%
User :   yes thats there
Doctor :   now got it what i mean

Doctor :   whooping cough will not affect adults
Doctor :
if you want to be 100% sure than it is DNA PCR

Doctor :
if it is negative than you are 100% negative
User :   but on net doctors say it may give even wrong signals bcoz of someother anti body presence
Doctor :   DNA PCR detects antigens not antibodies
