User :   the problem is that I cannot shave every day.. If I do then I get a lot of cuts & sometimes a rash develops.. however, in case I shave after a couple of days.. there is no issue

User :   i have been shaving since college.. 15 years back and have a thick growth

Doctor :   Actually you should know few things
User :   the thing is that for work.. i need to shave everyday .. as it looks smart
Doctor :   about shaving which can help in conserving the texture of the skin
Doctor :   You should know the direction of growth of the hair
Doctor :   and the shave razor should move only in that direction
Doctor :   Never shave without foam which is thick
Doctor :   Make sure the foam is left on the beard for a minute before you start shaving
User :   but then I do not get a clean shave.. if i shave in opposite direction the shave is clean
Doctor :   That is the biggest error you do while shaving and that is the reason why it hurts you and rash
Doctor :   those are called shaving bumps
Doctor :   You use a good razor and shave in line with the direction of the hair
