Doctor :   hi
User :   hi doctor
Doctor :   Dr. XXXXXXXX here. Please proceed with your health query
User :   I got my appendicitis removed 15 days back
User :   by laprascopy
User :   I did not face any trouble for the last 15 days and got my stitches removed a week back
User :   yesterday morning I had severe fever with vomiting sensation
Doctor :   ok.
Doctor :   is there any pain at the operation site?
User :   i had paracetamol three times yesterday and the fever is off
User :   no pain anywhere
Doctor :   vomiting sensation could be attributed to the gastritis due to paracetamol intake
User :   but i still feel the vomiting sensation, nausea and feel less energitic
User :   what should i do now?
Doctor :   the fever could be due to possible infection while removing the stitches
Doctor :   you should go in for a repeat examination and see if there is any local infection
User :   the stitches were removed a week back and I was ok after that
Doctor :   if any infection is found then you will be put on antibiotics
User :   the wound have healed
Doctor :   is there any kind of discharge from th operated site?
User :   nope
User :   no pain
User :   no sign of infection too
Doctor :   is there redness around the stitches?
User :   from outside
User :   no redness
User :   as well
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   are you stil having fever?
User :   no the fever is gone
Doctor :   ok. that is good
Doctor :   for the nausea and tiredness i will suggest you
Doctor :   for the nausea take Digene syrup 10-15 ml 2-3 times a day
Doctor :   and drink lots of water
Doctor :   having water with ORS is good , it will balance electrolytes and help you feel energetic
User :   ORS?
Doctor :   ORS (oral rehydration solution)
User :   ok ok..
User :   like electrolyte?
Doctor :   it comes in powder form, like electrolyte
User :   sure sure
User :   i had bad throat pain.. now its gone but still blood comes out with the mucus
Doctor :   ok. is the throat pain stil present?
Doctor :   is it associated with cough?
Doctor :   if yes, is there sputum production?
User :   throat pain is gone now and no cough
Doctor :   when does the blood with mucus come? is it in morning time?
User :   it comes when i try to get it out of my mouth.. yeah mornings mostly
Doctor :   could you explain in detail?
Doctor :   do mean to say that you get the blood with mucus when trying to clear the throat?
Doctor :   are you having feeling of 'something stuck in throat'?
User :   in the mornings when i sneeze or force the mucus to come out from the mouth the blood comes
User :   no i dont feel anything stuck in the throat :(
Doctor :   ok, how much blood comes out approximately?
Doctor :   is it in form of streaks? or more?
User :   very little.. like 1/3 of a drop
Doctor :   ok.
Doctor :   then the most probable cause is straining that you do to take the mucus out.
Doctor :   what happens when you strain is that the delicate blood vessels under the skin
User :   ohh ok ok
Doctor :   they rupture leading to such blood in the mucus that comes along with it
Doctor :   have you followed what i have said?
User :   yeah yeah
Doctor :   so, the cure for this lies in not straining for taking the mucus out
User :   i used to smoke but quit now.. i always had mucus.. is there any permanent way to get it out?
Doctor :   since nausea is also associated, the mucus in throat could also be due to the gastritis
Doctor :   and GERD like symptoms
Doctor :   do you have chest burning sensation?
User :   nope
Doctor :   is there sour feeling coming in throat?
Doctor :   do you have burping, belching associated?
User :   when i had pain yes.. not now
Doctor :   ok.
User :   no burps
Doctor :   ok
User :   so nothing BIG to worry about right?
User :   i was scared about it since i was wondering if it had anything to do with the recent surgery
Doctor :   no, not anything serious, but if the straining continues, you could have more bleeding
Doctor :   and in that case and ENT examination would be recommended
Doctor :   to look for the bleeding cause
Doctor :   and treat it
User :   sure doc
User :   thanks for your advice
Doctor :   is there anything else i can help you with?
User :   and i forgot
User :   i had loose-motion too
User :   diarrhea + fever + nausea + throat pain
Doctor :   is it still continuing?
User :   i had bi-quinol and it stopped after that
Doctor :   diarrhea + fever + nausea could be the reason for the tiredness
Doctor :   as electrolytes will get lost in diarrhea
Doctor :   so the ORS solution will help you
Doctor :   in feeling better
User :   ohh.. sure doc
User :   thanks again for your time
Doctor :   is there anything else i can help you with?
User :   that should be it doc
